Description
Love Chapel is seeking committed volunteers to join our team and support the breakfast shift at Brighter Days Shelter. This is an ongoing volunteer position that requires initial training and a regular commitment—not a one-time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Hand out coffee, breakfast, and sack lunches to shelter guests.
- Perform light cleaning duties such as laundry, sweeping and mopping dorm floors, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Work alongside shelter staff to ensure guests feel supported and the shelter remains orderly.
Requirements:
- Early morning availability (5:45 AM – 9:00 AM) on a recurring basis.
- Completion of volunteer training prior to serving.
- Ability to assist with light cleaning and food distribution.
- A caring attitude and willingness to support guests with kindness and respect.
