Description
Love Chapel is seeking committed volunteers to join our team and support the breakfast shift at Brighter Days Shelter. This is an ongoing volunteer position that requires a regular commitment - not a one-time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Hand out coffee, breakfast, and sack lunches to shelter guests.
- Perform light cleaning duties such as laundry, sweeping and mopping dorm floors, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Work alongside shelter staff to ensure guests feel supported and the shelter remains orderly.
Requirements:
- Early morning availability (5:45 AM – 9:00 AM) on a recurring basis.
- Completion of volunteer training prior to serving.
- Ability to assist with light cleaning and food distribution.
- A caring attitude and willingness to support guests with kindness and respect.
