Who We Are
Mission: Just Friends provides an engaging and safe place that enhances dignity, uniqueness, and independence for adults who are aging with challenges and provides balance for the life of the caregiver.
What We Do
Just Friends supports independence by providing a comfortable, familiar environment for socialization, physical/mental exercises, creative exploration, nursing supervision, and community engagement.
Nursing Oversight—All hours of operation are covered by licensed nursing staff with RN supervision. Participants are monitored and documented. This makes communication with doctors easy and straightforward.
Transportation—we provide transportation to and from our program with a driving staff well-versed in the interaction and needs of our participants. Our low-floor minivans allow us to transport people with limited mobility.
Group and individual activities— Daily activities assist with the maintenance or improvement of the cognitive and physical abilities of participants. Activities are created using a person-centered care model and reflect the needs of the group.
Presentations—Presentation volunteers enhance our regular activities by sharing professional or personal hobbies and talents with participants.
