We often need help cleaning, feeding and tidying up our canine housing areas and the dogs that live in the shelter.
This work is cold & hot, usually wet & stinky, dirty paws are plentiful and it's loud because they are all excited to see humans! A typical shift involves scooping poo, removing soiled bedding, disinfecting the cages, rinsing and setting up a new cozy kennel for each dog. There are specific feeding times for breakfast and dinner. We spot clean inside and outside kennels during the day to keep the messes away from our shelter dogs too.
After the cleaning duties, there is always time for a snuggle or quick walkie!
