Be part of the team that brings Columbus Riverfest featuring Ya Gotta Regatta to life! As a member of the Set-Up Crew, you’ll play a key role in transforming Mill Race Park into a vibrant, high-energy event space ready for a day of cardboard boat racing and family fun.
Volunteers in this role will assist with setting up tents, tables, signage, and other event essentials to ensure everything is in place before guests and teams arrive. It’s a great opportunity to work alongside fellow volunteers, get a behind-the-scenes look at the event, and make a big impact before the excitement begins.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with tent, table, and chair setup
- Placing signage and directional materials throughout the event space
- Helping organize registration areas, race zones, and vendor spaces
- Assisting community organizations and vendors with unloading and locating their assigned spaces
- Helping vendors and organizations set up their tents and tables as needed
- Supporting event staff with general event preparations and last-minute task
