Foundation for Youth is for a volunteers who love the outdoors to spend time with a group of kids this summer and help them learn, grow, and get their hands a little dirty in the best way possible!
What you might do:
Lead nature walks, outdoor games, or exploration activities
Teach basic skills like plant identification, ecology, or conservation
Help kids build confidence and curiosity in an outdoor setting
Encourage teamwork, creativity, and respect for the environment
Teach basic gardening skills, share knowledge about plants and nature
Create a fun, engaging outdoor experience.
We have a garden that can also be a main focus for a passionate volunteer. Activities might include planting flowers and vegetables, maintaining the garden, showing kids how things grow from seed to harvest, teaching about pollinators, and anything else the kids could learn about.
All tools and materials can be provided if needed—just bring your knowledge and enthusiasm! If you’re interested or know someone who might be a great fit, please comment below or send a message.
We’d love to connect and make this a meaningful summer experience for the kids
