Day of Service is a one-day, community-wide event that celebrates volunteerism throughout Bartholomew County. It unites residents, local businesses, City/County government, churches, civic groups, and families to tackle and complete meaningful projects for non-profit organizations and social service agencies, creating a positive, lasting impact in our community.

Event Details

• Date: Thursday, September 11, 2025
• Shifts: Typically 4 hours in the AM and 4 hours in the PM (varies by agency)
  •  ALL volunteers will kick off the day at Amazing Joe’s! Morning shift volunteers can enjoy complimentary breakfast-style refreshments and pick up their t-shirts. Afternoon shift volunteers can pick up their t-shirts during lunch—meal available for purchase.
• Lunch: Join us at Amazing Joe's for lunch at 11am or 12pm to wrap up or begin your Day of Service!

Volunteer Information:

• Individuals and teams may sign up to volunteer. 
• Team leads MUST ensure all team members register through our volunteer website and have a current liability e-waiver on file.
• Team leaders can respond as a team, reserve team slots, and send the join team link to team members for individual registration. Projects with larger number of volunteer slots go fast!
• ONLY reserve as many slots you are certain you will fill. Releasing slots due to not being able to fill them actually hurts the organization.
• Only those registered for opportunities are permitted to participate.
