Help End the Night Right – Support Child Abuse Prevention in Bartholomew County
The Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Prom Fundraiser is a fun and meaningful evening that raises critical funds to support child abuse prevention services across Bartholomew County.
As the night wraps up, we count on amazing volunteers like YOU to help us close out the event smoothly and efficiently.
We’re seeking event cleanup and breakdown volunteers who are available during the event and approximately 30 minutes after it ends to assist with the following:
Volunteer Roles Include:
General Cleanup:
- Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and compost
- Empty and replace bins as needed
Table Clearing:
- Remove used plates, cups, utensils, and table coverings
- Transport items to designated disposal or cleaning areas
Decor Removal:
- Take down decorations, banners, balloons, etc.
- Pack items for reuse or proper disposal
Organization & Packing:
- Box up leftover supplies (napkins, utensils, plates, etc.)
- Assist with loading and unloading event materials
Food & Beverage Area:
- Clean up leftover food/drink
- Organize and pack leftover items
- Wipe down serving and prep areas
Silent Auction & Raffle:
- Collect winning tickets
- Organize and pack up items for distribution
Event Structures:
- Help break down tents and other temporary structures
Volunteers will be present during the event and stay approximately 30 minutes afterward to assist with cleanup.
As a thank-you, each volunteer will receive one free ticket to the event.
