Imagination Library of Bartholomew County, Inc.

Mission: To improve early education, with a focus on increasing kindergarten readiness rates.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that began in February 2023 in response to low literacy rates for incoming kindergartners in Bartholomew County.

We are an affiliate of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which gives us the ability to put books into the hands and hearts of children in our community. This inspires a love for reading, increases kindergarten readiness, and promotes overall academic success.

Imagination Library of Bartholomew County Inc. is a book gifting program mailing free, high-quality books to children from birth to age 5, no matter their family’s income.
