Mission: To provide accessible, high-quality education and training equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills required for personal and professional development.
At McDowell Education Center, we are committed to offering high-quality education programs to our community. We provide resources and support to adults seeking to improve their skills, acquire a high school equivalency, learn English as a second language, or take part in other educational opportunities. Our dedicated team of professionals works tirelessly to create engaging, challenging, and supportive learning environments that help each student reach their full potential.
What We Do
At McDowell, we provide:
- Free English learning classes for adults
- Classes and testing to obtain a High School Equivalency (High School Diploma)
- Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) 8-week classes (capable for Ivy Tech credits upon completion)
- Microsoft Office Word Specialist (MOS) learning modules for Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (capable for Ivy Tech credits upon completion)
