Who We Are
Mission: To help all 2nd and 3rd grade students read on grade level by the end of the school year.
What We Do
Book Buddies is a one-on-one reading program that pairs community volunteers with 2nd and 3rd graders to help them become better readers. Volunteers work with two students for an hour a week during the school day, Monday through Thursday.
It takes only two steps to become a volunteer:
- complete online enrollment forms
- attend a one-time volunteer training
