Mill Race Center

Mission: To develop a nationally recognized model for dynamic, comprehensive, collaborative programming for the age 50 plus population.

Mill Race Center is a community center for active adults located in Mill Race Park in Columbus, Indiana. Mill Race Center Inc., formerly known as Senior Center Services of Bartholomew County, serves as the lead programming agency and collaborates with several major partners to provide a wide range of programs and services for older adults and their families, conveniently located under one roof.  The facility is owned by the City of Columbus.  Mill Race Center primarily serves Bartholomew County, but is also a resource for participants from adjacent counties and beyond.

At Mill Race Center, we are a vibrant, social hub providing enrichment programs and services to adults age 50 and over in the Columbus, Indiana area. Our programs focus on health, fitness, and overall well-being, encouraging active, intellectually stimulating, and socially fulfilling lives. From offering a wide range of classes and workshops to wellness services, social events and travel opportunities, we aim to help our members lead enriched, purposeful, and active lives. We believe in empowering adults to continue lifelong learning and making meaningful social connections.
