Volunteer: Tutors for English Conversation Club Program

BCSC Cultural Learning Center is looking for volunteers who can help with the English Conversation Club program. The purpose of this program is to help a diverse group of adults learn and practice English. It is 1 hour in the morning, once a week through the school year. It is possible for the date and time to be set to accommodate your schedule. The conversation could be held either in person at Columbus North High school or virtually. Volunteers are asked to initiate conversation topics, help to build up topic-related English vocabulary, and facilitate a group of individuals’ conversations/dialogues.

It is 1.5 hours after school, once a week through the school year. It is possible for the date and time to be set to accommodate your schedule. Volunteers are asked to help students work on their homework, including reading, language arts, math, etc. virtually or in-person in the school setting.
