Help us give our busy food pantry a much-needed refresh! With the high volume of use, our shelves are ready for some extra care. We’re looking for a team of volunteers to roll up their sleeves and assist with deep cleaning and repainting the pantry shelves to create a cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming space for the community we serve.

No experience needed—just a willingness to help! All tools and supplies will be provided. Come make a visible impact and be part of transforming a vital resource for our neighbors

We’re looking for two volunteers to help clear weeds and tidy up around our outdoor storage shed. Your efforts will help keep the area safe, accessible, and looking great for everyone we serve.

We’re looking for an energetic team to roll up their sleeves and tackle a deep clean of the shelter—creating a fresh, welcoming environment for guests during a critical time in their lives.

Volunteers will also sand and paint privacy dividers to help make the space more comfortable and dignified for those staying at the shelter.

Whether you love organizing, cleaning, or light DIY projects, there’s a role for you! Expect a rewarding day filled with teamwork, visible impact, and plenty of feel-good moments.

Every Thursday morning we pre-package groceries for up to 100 families at the food pantry warehouse. These groceries are later distributed at our Mobile Outreach Pantries, which are held in the outlying areas of the county.

These drive-thru pantries offer much-needed nourishment to our food-insecure neighbors, especially those facing transportation and other barriers. Love Chapel is seeking volunteers to help pack food in grocery bags each Thursday for these distribution sites.

Love Chapel's Food Pantry is in need of volunteer stockers to help keep our pantry organized and stocked for those in need. We are looking for volunteers to assist one or more days Monday-Saturday between 8:30am-12:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Unload food products from trucks.Restock pantry shelves with various.Ensure the pantry remains organized and well-supplies for our guests.

Your efforts will play a crucial role in ensuring our community has access to the food they need. If you have a few hours to spare and want to help make a meaningful impact, we'd love to have you volunteer with us! 

Love Chapel is seeking volunteers to help assist guests in our Food Pantry. After guests are registered, volunteers will work to gather food and supplies based on the guest's preferences and household size.

Responsibilities:

Use shopping carts to gather food and supplies.Assist guests by filling grocery bags according to their preferences and needs.Ensure guests relieve the correct amount of groceries based on household size.Bring the filled bags to guests' cars for easy pick-up.

Love Chapel is seeking committed volunteers to join our team and support the breakfast shift at Brighter Days Shelter. This is an ongoing volunteer position that requires initial training and a regular commitment - not a one-time opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Hand out coffee, breakfast, and sack lunches to shelter guests. Perform light cleaning duties such as laundry, sweeping and mopping dorm floors, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment. Work alongside shelter staff to ensure guests feel supported and the shelter remains orderly.

Requirements:

Early morning availability (5:45 AM – 9:00 AM) on a recurring basis. Completion of volunteer training prior to serving. Ability to assist with light cleaning and food distribution. A caring attitude and willingness to support guests with kindness and respect.

Love Chapel is looking for friendly and compassionate volunteers to serve as greeters at our food pantry. As a greeter, you will play a key role in setting a welcoming and supportive tone for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Greet food pantry guests as they arrive.Direct guests to the appropriate registration booths.Provide a warm, positive atmosphere to ensure  guests feel cared for and respected.

Love Chapel is seeking volunteers to assist with registration of guests as they enter the food pantry. Volunteers will work directly with guests in a compassionate and nonjudgmental manner to ensure the accuracy of their information. 

Responsibilities:

Help register guests and confirm their information with care and respect.Ensure guest data is accurately entered into the system.Use tablets or computers to input information (basic knowledge of data entry is required or willingness to learn). 

This is an essential role in supporting our guests and ensuring a smooth process. If you're comfortable with technology and enjoy working with people in a positive, welcoming environment, we'd love for you to volunteer with us! 

Love Chapel is looking for compassionate and reliable volunteers to serve as Telephone Desk Receptionists during the hours of 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM one or two days per week.

We also need those willing to sub on occasion (training provided)

Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls and greet walk-in clients Provide information with compassion, professionalism, and discretion Assist clients and connect them with community resources

What We’re Looking For:

Comfortable using a multi-line phone system Basic computer skills (email, data entry, etc.) Friendly and calm demeanor when interacting with people in need Willingness to learn – training provided on office procedures and community partner information

This is a front-line role that directly supports those in crisis, offering hope and guidance when it’s needed most. Your time and heart can make a difference.

What's Involved:

Sub-Drivers Needed: Fill in as needed for pickup, special events, and Mobile Pantries.No CDL Required: Drive a 26-food box truck- just bring your valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
