Make a Splash by Helping Scrub Our Pool Deck

Foundation for Youth is for volunteers to scrub and clean our pool deck to get it looking fresh and safe for everyone to enjoy. Over time, the deck has built up some grime, and a good deep scrub will make a big difference!

What the task involves:

Skill level: No experience needed—just a willingness to help and get a little wet! 

Your help will make the pool area cleaner, safer, and more welcoming for kids and families.  If you’re available to lend a hand, please let us know. We really appreciate the support!

TRAIL TIDY-UP CREW ASSEMBLE! 

Our camp trails have gone full “enchanted forest obstacle course” mode — and while we love a little adventure, it’s time to clear the way!

We’re calling all saw-swingers, branch-draggers, and fresh-air enthusiasts to join our Trail Clearing Volunteer Day and help remove fallen trees and brush from across the paths. Let’s make those trails hike-ready again! 

No lumberjack experience required — just a willingness to pitch in and have a little fun getting things done. We’ll provide tools, direction, and plenty of high-fives.

Join us for Weed Pulling at camp and help us get the grounds looking fresh, fabulous, and ready for adventure. No experience required — if you can grab, pull, and toss, you’re fully qualified!

Foundation for Youth is seeking volunteer coaches to help lead and inspire our youth athletics programs!

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support our youth and adult sports programs. If you have experience, knowledge, or simply a love for the game, we’d love to have you on our team! Volunteers help create a positive, encouraging environment where players can grow, learn, and have fun. Opportunities are available with our K–2 Basketball League, 3–12 Basketball League, K–12 Volleyball League, Payne Stewart Golf Experience (Grades K–4 Division), and Adult Basketball League. Volunteers must be available for one hour, twice a week and have experience or knowledge of the sport; a passion for mentoring and supporting players is a plus. Training is provided!

If you love sports, enjoy working with kids, or just want to give back to the community, we’d love to have you on our team. You don’t need to be a former pro—just bring a positive attitude, patience, and a willingness to encourage young athletes as they learn skills, teamwork, and confidence. Coaching is a fun, rewarding way to make a real difference in a child’s life.

Volunteers will visit Foundation for Youth to talk about what they do, how they got there, and what skills or interests are helpful in their field.

This is a great opportunity to encourage curiosity, confidence, and big dreams in kids by showing them the many paths their future can take. No formal presentation experience is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to engage with students in an age-appropriate, interactive way.

Volunteers may answer questions, share stories, bring simple visuals or tools from their job, and help students connect school subjects to real-world careers. Your time and perspective can make a lasting impact!

Do you love turning ideas into code and confusion into clarity? We’re looking for a Coding Specialist who’s excited to help learners grow their skills and confidence in programming.

What You’ll Do:
Teach and support students in coding concepts (beginner to intermediate)
Break down complex problems into simple, understandable steps
Provide encouragement, guidance, and the occasional “aha!” moment
Work with languages/tools such as Python, JavaScript, Scratch, or similar
