Join the Columbus Department of Public Works in making a real impact on the city's recycling efforts. Volunteers will meet at the DPW facility and assist the DPW Collections Foreman in auditing residential recycling toters.

What You'll Do:

  • Work alongside the DPW team to inspect and record recycling toter contents
  • Help gather data that will inform and improve public recycling education programs
  • Contribute to a cleaner, more efficient Columbus through informed waste management practices

Your efforts will provide crucial data to help the city better educate residents about proper recycling practices and ensure long-term sustainability in waste management.

Additional Information:

  • Training and materials will be provided on-site
  • Volunteers should wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes
