United Way of Bartholomew County is excited to partner with Versiti to host a blood drive during Day of Caring: Blood, Sweat, and Cheers!—and we’d love for you to be part of it!
By donating blood, you can double your impact for the day!
If you’re unable to participate in a traditional volunteer project, this is a meaningful and lifesaving way to give back to our community. Even better, the blood collected stays local—supporting patients at Columbus Regional Health.
As a thank-you, all blood donors will:
- Be counted as official Day of Caring volunteers
- Receive a Day of Caring t-shirt
- Get tickets for our event vendors
- Be invited to our parking lot party-style volunteer celebration, filled with appreciation, fun extras, and community connection
- Sign up by April 24th and receive an exclusive shirt from Versiti
Schedule you're donation appointment here:

- A blood transfusion happens in the U.S. every 2 seconds
- More than 25% of the blood supply supports cancer patients
- 1 in 83 births requires a blood transfusion
- A single accident victim may need up to 250 units of blood
- All lifesaving blood products at Columbus Regional Health come from volunteer donors like you!
Your donation can truly save lives—right here in our community. Join us and make your Day of Caring: Blood, Sweat, and Cheers! count in a powerful way!
