Role Overview: As an Intake Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in helping clients gather the necessary information and documents for their tax filings, ensuring a smooth process for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome Tax payers: Greet clients with a friendly demeanor.
- Verify Documents: Check taxpayer IDSs and ensure all requirement documents are present.
- Assist with Forms: Help clients complete their intake forms by going over each question.
- Schedule Appointments: Arrange pick-up or taxpayer review appointments as needed.
Training:
- Dates: Training will begin early January, 2026.
- Format: A combination of online and in-person training sessions are required.
- Competition: All training must be finished by end of January 2026.
- Certification: Upon finishing the training, you will need to take an open-book online test in Standard of Conduct, Intake Interview,
Commitment:
- Timeframe: Volunteers are required to commit ta minimum of 4 hours per week from February 2 to April 13, 2026.
