Who We Are

The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

What We Do

The Alzheimer's Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, research, and advocacy for people affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Research: Fund and conduct research to advance the understanding, treatment, and prevention of Alzheimer's disease. Support: Provide resources, information, and support groups for individuals, families, and caregivers affected by Alzheimer's. Advocacy: Advocate for policies and funding to support Alzheimer's research, care, and public health initiatives. Education: Raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease, its symptoms, and available care options. Public Health: Promote brain health and early detection through initiatives such as Memory Screening Day and Alzheimer's Awareness Month. Collaboration: Work with other organizations, researchers, and healthcare providers to combat Alzheimer's disease. Walk to End Alzheimer's: Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
