Who We Are
Calvary Community Church in Columbus, Indiana, is a vibrant and inclusive congregation committed to living out the teachings of Jesus Christ and serving the local community. Founded in 1975 by Bishop Charles A. Sims and Dr. Jane A. Sims, the church has a rich history of advocacy, support for the underserved, and a dedication to being a pillar in the Columbus community.
Mission and Beliefs
The church's mission is to encourage praise, prayer, and the Word of God; to accept all people from all walks of life; to reach out into the community to make it a better place; and to grow in love for God and each other . They believe in the centrality of the Kingdom of God in all they do and emphasize the importance of love, family, and faith in their core values.
What We Do
Our mission and vision is to improve mind, body and spirit through moving more, eating better, and mental health awareness.
