Who We Are
Mission: To conserve, promote, and create pollinator-friendly habitats throughout Columbus Parks and Trails.
The Columbus Pollinator Committee is a community-based initiative in Columbus, Indiana, focused on promoting and protecting pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. The committee works to raise awareness about the critical role pollinators play in maintaining healthy ecosystems, supporting agriculture, and ensuring biodiversity.
What We Do
The committee often hosts educational workshops, community events, and volunteer planting days to engage residents and businesses in making Columbus a pollinator-friendly community. By advocating for environmentally responsible gardening and farming practices, the committee seeks to create a more sustainable and vibrant environment for both people and pollinators in the area.
