Columbus Sunrise Rotary

Mission: To serve as an active force of good in our global community.

Since our official inception in 2000, the Columbus Sunrise Rotary Club has touched the lives of many people, both locally and internationally.  We firmly believe in and live the motto “Service Above Self.” We are a very energetic club that enjoys fellowship and being actively involved in projects and activities that benefit our community and individuals who are less fortunate than ourselves.  Our members are active or retired professionals who enjoy making a difference in our community and in the world. We have a competitive spirit and strive to be ranked at least in the top five within our district of 36 clubs. Guest speakers keep us current with community events, initiatives and issues.  We use our leadership skills, expertise, and diverse perspectives to develop service projects that help make Columbus a great place to live.

As the Columbus Sunrise Rotary Club, we aim to improve our community and the world through service projects, fostering leadership, and encouraging high ethical standards. Our various service efforts involve promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, supporting education, and growing local economies. Additionally, we seek to bring people together from all continents, cultures, and occupations, hence promoting better relationships between people worldwide. We invest time and resources in our community and international projects, all in line with our ultimate goal of transforming lives and creating opportunities for those less fortunate.
